NHAHA is pleased to invite you to its 8th annual conference on Haitian Health, from October 19 -21, 2011 at the Karibe Hotel in Port-Au-Prince. The conference is entitled this year: HAITI HEALTH REFORMS THROUGH A GLOBAL LENS.
In keeping with our 2010 theme "Haiti Health into the next Decade", we will bring global health luminaries and the world's leading experts to discuss the status of Haitian health care, examining existing and proposed systems, as well has health care policy. These discussions will be led with consecutive input from those on the front-lines of the Haitian health care system, who have the responsibility of daily operations and implementation of programs throughout the nation.
Over three days, in its second conference in Haiti, NHAHA is inviting lay persons and professionals from around the world to participate, including: health-care providers, community organizers, program managers, policy-makers, researchers and advocates, faith-based organizations, regional and international governmental representatives, policy analysts, policy makers, civil society and regional media representatives.
Together, NHAHA and all those participating in this year's conference will work to elucidate Haiti's needs, and how things can be done to help Haitian Health break with the past and enter the 21st century.
Please contact us at conference2011@nhaha.org if you would like to have more information.
