Welcome

The National Haitian American Health Alliance (NHAHA) invites you to submit abstracts with implications for Haiti in one or more of these priority health issues, and that specifically focus on practical experience in strengthening various aspects of systems of delivery, or new models and approaches that have shown their promise in other countries. Together, NHAHA and all those participating in this year's conference will work to elucidate on what needs to be done, and how things can be done to help Haiti Health break with the past and enter the 21st century.

First Abstract Deadline: August 15, 2011
Presentations submitted by August 15 will be reviewed for the possibility of presenting a poster or oral presentation. Those submitting by this first deadline will be given preference for oral presentations at the conference.

Second Abstract Deadline: September 1, 2011
Presentations submitted by August 30 will be reviewed for the possibility of presenting a poster or oral presentation. The majority of the abstracts submitted by this second deadline will be considered for poster presentation, as most of the oral presentation slots are expected to be filled by those submitting by the first abstract deadline in August.
